@BuckeyeNatty If they can get in, and get hot at the right time, could very well make a run… but can they stay hot is the question through now till BIG ten tourney.

Something has to be done. College football has to end sooner. We don’t need 2-3 weeks between the end of the season and the playoffs starting. Jan 1 end is ideal. Max one week later. Push the season up. Get the games played. We continue to do things that don’t make any sense.

@FBallCoach_G @stillcharmin @ILikeBigDecks Oh so you and QB’s spin the ball between your hands while laying on the ground? And based on that gut hanging over your shorts I’m gonna guess you’ve never spun a football

So, does the ball hitting the ground and completely bouncing around in a player's hand matter?

@stillcharmin @ILikeBigDecks @FBallCoach_G Do you know how stupid that rule is? “Movement of the ball does not automatically result in a loss of control” lol, how can the ball move but not lose control? Only thing I can think of is switching the ball between hands. Also he didn’t take 2 steps then cross the goal line

@ILikeBigDecks I did watch the video. Have 20/20 vision and I see a catch. The ball is moving, but not “bouncing around” as you have stated.

@FBallCoach_G Could you try watching the video? Sheesh. You'd have to be blind to not see it bouncing around.

@ILikeBigDecks His hands are still contacting the ball throughout the process. Stop watching it in slow motion and watch it full speed. “All over the place” would be the ball bouncing out of his hands…

@FBallCoach_G He absolutely lost control. That thing bounced all over the place.

@DraftDiamonds The ball can move and the WR still have possession. Slowing down the shot, to show a very small fraction of the catch is where these debates are coming from.

I do not know what a catch is in the NFL anymore! I'm not sure the NFL knows either. This was a catch. Watch the ball when it hits the ground, it absolutely moves

@DaveMyersBIB Yes, let’s take a snap shot of the entire play and make a decision on that… you have to survive the ground, and the WR didn’t, defense ends up with the ball, clearly an INT.

Per the #NFL rule book. This goes to the offense. The play is over when touched down. Knee is down, contact made.

@JBook_37 Agents are feeding them bad information… grass isn’t always greener. College football needs some NIL regulation and needs it fast. This is getting out of control.

These Agents are destroying college football and the careers of these young men… they are artificially driving the price up for these kids to enter the portal, and while some might get a School to pay what they are asking for. Most will not and be SOL on the back end of this.

@MrOhio I’d bet that this will all change in the next 18 months. Regulations will be put in place, the “NIL” of Pay for play will end and the true NIL will begin. I think OSU administrators see this and are preparing for it before anyone else.

What NIL currently is…. - here’s $3 mill, be our QB next year What NIL was designed for - Name - profiting on your jersey sales - Image - Being a sponsored athlete for brands or companies - Likeness - anything that portrays you (video games) We’ve lost the plot of the story

I believe that coaches are trying to be ahead of the curve. OSU spending money on the portal in 2024 is what other teams are doing now. OSU clearly sees that this will not be the path moving forward for CFB and are adapting to be ahead once regulation on NIL is finally in place.
