A friendly reminder that the people who:
•banned Black people from reparations, schools, military, GI bill, & FHA loans
•who lynched & are now locking Latinos into putrid concentration camps
•who locked Japanese people into camps & banned all Asian immigration
•who broke every single treaty with Native Americans while committing genocide
•And who are now gutting laws that helped counter that harm & passing laws to ban teaching that history...
They want you to stop making everything about race.😐

Cuba has a healthcare system so advanced that American patients have traveled there to access treatments they couldn't get or afford at home.
Our government's illegal embargo blocks that access.
So Americans keep paying more, getting less, and going bankrupt while Washington makes sure they can't look elsewhere.
End the embargo. Pass Medicare for All.

The economy isn't broken by accident.
▶️ Corporations post record profits while workers can't afford groceries
▶️ Billionaires pay lower tax rates than teachers and truck drivers
▶️ CEOs get bonuses while thousands get laid off
Every single one of those? A policy choice. Made by the powerful, for the powerful.
We choose differently. Wealth tax. Living wages. An economy that works for working people.
We're not stopping.

Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was found dead after hours of searching under rubble. She was killed in an Israeli strike, after the Israeli army fired at ambulances trying to reach her, delaying her rescue.
She is the fourth journalist killed by Israel while in the field since 2 March.
She was a professional, kind and dedicated journalist, and always a pleasure to run into in the field.

Call me radical, but I don’t think we should be throwing millions of Americans off health care while we bail out a ruthless dictator whose family is worth $300 billion.

Ms. Rachel on the ICE Dilley detention center: “It’s heartbreaking talking to the kids and their families. They’re talking about water they can’t even drink that makes them sick. There’s been worms in the food. The food’s rotten sometimes. What really frightens me is the dangerous, inadequate medical care. These are basic human rights for children and we can all agree not to harm and abuse children. I’m kind of in shock about what I’m hearing and I don’t think people really know what’s going on inside of Dilley”

BREAKING: About 120 U.S. military veterans were arrested inside the Cannon House Office Building today protesting Trump's war on Iran.
Some were on crutches. Some were in wheelchairs. Some carried the burial flags of fallen soldiers.
They are members of About Face — veterans who know what war costs because they have already paid for one.
Capitol Police handcuffed disabled veterans and dragged them out of the rotunda.
53% of American voters oppose the war. 74% oppose ground troops. 61% disapprove of Trump's handling of it.
The people who fought America's last wars are now being arrested for trying to stop the next one.
Never stop connecting the dots.

Graham Platner: “In 1990 there were fewer than 80 billionaires in the US. Today there are over 900. Do you see a state of Maine that is 10x wealthier than 1990? Have our wages gone up 10x? Do we have 10x the schools? 10x the hospitals? No, we have less. The money went somewhere and it wasn’t down here. it was stolen from us in a rigged system”
