@61Devlin @NickM1zo @Flobertou I'm not arguing it is the moral choice. It's the logical choice. Obviously it's self preservation. But if the odds of saving everyone were close to the death odds then I'd be down to risk my life for it. If someone's drowning and you can't swim you shouldn't jump in to save them

@FCB_Cule1899 @NickM1zo @Flobertou Red is in no way the moral choice. It is impossible to argue that. Red means you are ok with the possibility of others dying as long as you're safe. Especially funny for people who are pro-life with how many babys would die.

@61Devlin @NickM1zo @Flobertou Well you can't influence how others vote. So my vote will just be one vote, it won't tip any scale as it won't change how others think. And usually when you vote for something you don't risk your life for it. Blue winning is ideal but im not a gambler so I could never vote blue

@FCB_Cule1899 @NickM1zo @Flobertou Everyone with your mindset, "your vote doesn't matter, so vote red for your self interest" , is one more who helps tip the scale to the point that people WILL die. People understand that and believe that as a whole, people will press blue and want to help ensure it wins. 2/2

@61Devlin @NickM1zo @Flobertou So you are risking your life for a minuscule chance to save the world. Obviously blue winning is the ideal outcome, but actually voting blue is illogical. Which means you should vote red even though you want blue to win. (3/3)

@61Devlin @NickM1zo @Flobertou Now the question is what are the odds blue won because of you, that it came down to your 1 single vote. If 8 billion people were to throw a coin to decide what to vote, the odds that your vote matters would be 1 in 112000. And that's best case scenario. (2/3)

@61Devlin @NickM1zo @Flobertou You didn't get my point. Blue may win but the only way your vote caused it to win is if there's an equal amount of red and blue votes (with 8 billion voting). So the odds of your blue vote saving people are worse than 1 in a million while the odds of death are 42% in your poll

@FCB_Cule1899 @NickM1zo @Flobertou So reds are cowards, thanks for admitting it. As long as you survive, you don't care how many die. As for 1 in a million chance. 👇

@NickM1zo @Flobertou Red pickers are cowards who only care about themselves. You have a kid? An infant? You can't help them push the red button per the rules (none knows who pressed what), maybe they pushed blue. You don't know, but are ok taking the risk as long as it's not your life that's risked

@cloud__alter @Cam16301 Blue winning is ideal but your one vote won't affect the outcome with 8 billion people voting. So if you value your life you'd have to vote red. A 50% chance of death for a 0.000001% chance of saving the world is just not worth it.

Everyone presses blue = Everyone survives Everyone presses red = Everyone survives Most people press blue = Everyone survives Most people press red = Red survives, but straight up all the blues get killed Red is beneficial to only you, you don't even save anyone by choosing it
MrBeast@MrBeast

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.

@rubywwwilde @wybeka @MrBeast The only way your blue press saves them is if the exact same amount of people pressed blue as red. You know the chances of that? You're gonna risk a 50% chance of death for a less than 1 in a million chance of saving people?

@wybeka @MrBeast Do you understand that children below age 5 will press buttons completely at random, so 50% of them may die? Older children will probably be idealistic and mostly press blue. You just completely ignore that the question is not only about you and only your survival.

@CuntyQue @specialedge_ @AniseNot The parents' one blue vote is not gonna change the outcome with 8 billion votes. If the parents are suicidal over their kids death then they can still off themselves later. Parents need to press red so they can be there for their kids if they also pressed red

@specialedge_ @AniseNot That's true, but that's why this version is more interesting! Imagine if the kids pick blue and the parent picks red. There are actual stakes here since we're dealing with agents incapable of rationality.

Ok but this test is announced suddenly. Everyone on Earth must take it immediately, including all children from 3yrs old on up You are not with your children & cannot speak to them before the test is administered Now what do you pick?
