For over 2 YEARS I kept fighting low storage space on my M1 Mac, almost always nearing 0 space left. The Storage settings panel is a joke. It kept saying Applications consumed 80 GB!! of space when I had at max 10-15 GB in the Applications folder. What the idiotic UI of Storage Settings does not tell you is that Application Data folder, Caches and so on are also counted towards that. It shows you each app and how much it consumes but it doesn't even mention these folders or show you how much they take. Same with Chrome. It sneakily downloads some AI models locally which are 7-8 GB in size!! You can delete them and disable the local AI model in Chrome settings but DAMN! Same with Apple Intelligence. I have it disabled, always had it disabled, yet it eats 7 GB for models I don't use, and deleting them requires going to Recovery Mode and disabling SIP! FUN! Managed to free up 100 GB by just cleaning this shit that was not even showing up in the Storage settings.

@afastaudir8 Technically you can, but you need a VPS with linux and img4 installed. That is not what I do. I parse the fields manually.

@FCE365 If there was a way to run a certain img4 command from the browser, you could also tell if the APTicket is valid

[RELEASE] iOS Sideloading Certificate Checker (P12 Revoked & Expiry) 🌐 Check the online tool here: geosn0w.com/ios-p12-certif… If you have a P12/PFX certificate you wanna use to sign iOS apps for sideloading but you are not sure if the certificate (enterprise, etc.) is still valid, expired or revoked, you can easily check all of that with my new tool. Keep in mind, the certificates are not stored anywhere, the check is done in memory.

@Chilo78 You can, but the console will ignore it without a full jailbreak and several tweaks installed on the console which also implies risking having your PSN account banned, staying on an old firmware and depending on hacking tools.

@i_am__thekid Yeah, this has been around since forever on PS, BUT with the announcement of game discs being completely phased out in January 2028, you can no longer opt out of this idiocy by just buying physical discs that survive Sony's account banning shenanigans. Now you MUST risk it all.

@FCE365 Well thats not news actually (at least for me), back in ps3 era, my account got banned, ive lost all the games/dlcs/contents bought. No chace of any appeal or whatever.... one thing is not allowing the account to use sony services but the things ive bought... are mine(or not?)

In case it surprises anybody anymore, Sony's own Terms and Conditions page, makes it very clear that you spending money and buying the games does NOT mean you own the game. You are basically renting it. They make it very clear that the Buy, Download, etc. buttons you see in the UI do not purchase the game, bur rather a license to use it. To make things even worse, they reserve the right to revoke your license at any moment without prior notice. So, got your account suspended for any reason? You lose every game you ever bought. They decide they don't like that particular game studio anymore? Game is gone from the store and so is your license. Vote with your wallet, people!

@chibiaigis3 @ShitpostRock Oh boy the difference between some DirectX versions alone can completely make a game refuse to start from one Windows version to another. Games sold on PC, especially older titles often have DirectX, CPP api patches, etc. to make them work under newer Windows.
