Showers and thunderstorms will occur along and behind a cold front that will move into the area Thursday night. Some strong to severe storms are possible with large and damaging wind the primary threats. In addition, locally heavy rainfall could lead to some flooding.

A warming trend will occur over the next few days with temperatures getting back above normal Wednesday and Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms will return to the region Thursday night along and behind a cold front.
