We were also awarded this year’s Circle of Excellence Award for participation in the CCC. Each year only one county department is recognized. This year is our year. The plaque and awards will be displayed in a common area.

I would like to announce that our office and Francine Matteson have been recognized for our participation in the Combined Charitable Campaign. Our office has been congratulated for achieving 100% of our goal. Francine has been recognized for her outstanding service as Coordinator

Today we recognized Overdose Awareness Day with a celebration of recovery. Some participants of h.a.r.t. painted rocks in memory of someone they lost. Others wrote messages of hope. Alumni came back to share their own continued success and support of our current participants!

This morning the Commissioners approved an agreement to outfit the Sheriff's Office with #bodycameras to provide transparency in #lawenforcement and help build trust between deputies and our community. #EveryResidentEveryDay #FranklinCounty
