Thank you to Ms. Simpkins third grade class @pesblackcats for spending time at the Lending Library today! Students created story scenes for Disney World by creating prototypes using ozobots that were coded for trackless rides! Way to go Blackcats!

Students @FloydFcsi involved in a 3D printing course with Big Sandy Community College are working to design and print 3D trophies and medallions for winners at this years East Kentucky Regional Science Fair! Here’s a sneak peak of what’s to come!

8th grade students at Adams MS worked with constraints and criteria to complete a engineering challenge! Afterwards, they used computational thinking to create algorithms for everyday task! Way to go Blackcats! 🐈‍⬛🐾

8th grade Mustangs from Stumbo Elementary joined DLC’s @Mikebell and @Kelsey_tackett for Mission Possible Friday. Students coded microbits to propel 3D printed presents. They combined engineering, CS and history for a day of fun and teamwork. @SteamFcs

Megan Hyden’s 7th grade students @SouthFloydElem presented self created body books! Each student created a book about a specific body system and presented it to students in 2-5th grade students! Way to go, SFES!
