Watching the Klopp documentary
Last season, Liverpool had seven first-team injuries going into the game in February against Brentford.
In that game, we lost Jones, Jota and Salah.
We were still in the race in April and won a cup final.
We did not even get a whisper of sympathy that time
What kind of football world are we living in where Arsenal, a club that was an absolute mess inside and out just five years ago, has since finished 2nd twice, pushed the best Premier League team in history to the final day, and—despite an injury-hit season—will likely finish 2nd again, yet continues to get constantly called out in today’s media? Some people need to take a long, hard look at themselves.
@petejleonard@stevek9KS1TV For some reason LFC's fans have turned nasty & jealous towards Arsenal. They don't dislike our club but they hate the idea of us winning if they're not.
Weird foookin bunch
@stevek9KS1TV I have no idea why Liverpool & Arsenal fans give each other so much crap.
We should be thankful for both teams for not letting the league turn into what the Bundesliga was for a decade where it's not even a competition.
We didn’t need the three players we signed in the January transfer window. Merino, Calafiori and Sterling. We didn’t need any of them. They added nothing to our squad other than the wage bill.
@henrywinter This is an awful take.
Saying Sesko scores implies he's some world beater (he isn't at all that - yet) & it ignores the fact he might've been injured.
All you're doing is deliberately goading Arsenal fans with silly soundbites.
This post is Northerner media mafia nonsense.
No target man. No goals. No title hopes. Much right about Arsenal, good manager, some very good players, but the failure to buy a centre-forward is rank negligence. (Sesko scored again tonight). #NFOARS
We, Tottenham Hotspur, play the mighty Kieran McKenna's Ipswich, a game between two European giants, both clubs having won at least one significant European trophy.
A certain north London club would die to touch one of those.
We really had such a good chance of winning the league this season and they all collectively decided that they didn’t want it.
Should not be anywhere near a job at Arsenal. I want people in charge who actually care about the club. Not accountants.
@alanshearer Same reason VAR didn't consider that Skelly was fouled first in yesterday's Red card incident.
VAR changes the decisions it wants to change.
With the Saliba red card…the keeper wasn’t close enough and was backing off. With this one, the goalkeeper’s in no man’s land, is too high and out of position? But the same outcome! So which one is it?it’s just exhausting trying to keep up with these guys!
@sensible_gunner This one was worthy of a red (& VAR was correct to intervene) , but maybe they should also have considered 'was Skelly fouled first?'
Saliba decision was awful. VAR should never have got involved.
@Gooner_Willo@Priestoshi@AKfromthelane The inter cities fairs cup isn’t a UEFA competition either. The Cup Winners Cup is fair enough but the ICFC is a nothing trophy
