In 1860 #Saxifraga tombeanensis from Monte Tombea was sampled and preserved in #herbaria. 160 years later, Marco Cannella and @YasamanRanj sampled this endemic species again to study its #genomic structure. #plants #biodiversity #conservationbiodiversity #mountain #nature
