Your cells have a lifespan. When they get old, damaged, or stressed, they don't just die some enter a state called senescence: they stop dividing but refuse to go away. These 🧟 zombie cells accumulate as we age and reduce the crosstalk among cellular compartments which contributes to 👵 aging, 🎗️ cancer, and 🤒 chronic disease. Interested in learning more have a look at work from Krystyna Mazan-Mamczarz, Eleanor J.
