As Economic Diplomacy takes center stage in the India story for the decades to come - it’s been an honour to create the Global Economic Cooperation with the support of the Ministry of External Affairs @MEAIndia GoI, Govt of Maharashtra @CMOMaharashtra and the patronage of Hon CM @Dev_Fadnavis The need for India to anchor global actions on strategic economic corridors, joint capital mobilization, supply chain stability and economic resilience of the world has led to the creation of a dependable platform where stakeholders can convene annually to deliberate and derive outcomes. Over three days in Mumbai, something powerful unfolded. Leaders from 30 countries, more than 70 global speakers, and 500 delegates gathered under one roof. Governments, sovereign funds, investors, multilateral institutions and entrepreneurs shared perspectives on how the world can collaborate in a rapidly changing world highlighting India’s indispensable role in the rapidly changing global economic order. Most importantly, Hon Prime Minister @narendramodi ji has enabled India to dream and integrate ourselves in the most important conversations in the world - GEC helps bring those conversations to action, as India becomes the 3rd largest global economy.
