@SupportersNufc Sell or worse case he goes in as our number 2. He's very poor now and nowhere near good enough to be number one

🇨🇩 Wissa, our #9 – the one who was supposed to help us regain our footing after the whole Isak debacle – the one who cost Newcastle United £55 million this past summer – the one who went on strike at Brentford because he wanted to come to Newcastle so badly – the one who has only scored one goal for us so far in the Premier League… 🐝 I used to admire Wissa at Brentford and always felt like he would score whenever he got the ball. When he officially signed for Newcastle, I was excited to see what he could do for us. As a surprise to us all, since his arrival, he has been nothing more than a plant pot on the bench. I get that it takes time for a new player to jive with a new team, and I understand that he’s been injured, but it’s been seven months. It’s time to see the Wissa we all used to know from Brentford. To make matters worse, he only seems to score and put in the effort for his country during the international games. If he can put in that kind of effort there, why can’t he for us? We paid a big fee – one that we easily could have put toward someone else – only to have him fail to live up to his name. Yes, he has only made 13 appearances for us in the league, mostly as a sub from the bench, but he seems to be a shadow of his former self. Not only that, but he seems to be clueless and oblivious about the impact of his disrespectful social media support of Brobbey’s Instagram post of Sunderland’s win over us in the derby, let's hope it's fake. What kind of player, wearing the cherished #9 shirt, previously worn by a legend, would do something like that without thinking about how it would be viewed by his fans and supporters? If he wants to win over the NUFC fans, Wissa needs to reassess his priorities; show that his club means as much to him as his country; and prove that we made a good decision in putting our faith in him. What do you think about Wissa as a NUFC player? Would you like to see him go in the next transfer window or do you think he will come good for us? 🤔 #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle

@NE5westend Played in some shite teams as well and still scored so many goals. His chances to goal ratio was insane. He also had two really bad injuries keeping him out for nearly two seasons.

Fancy a laugh!? 🤔 Robbie Fowler reckons that he was a better goalscorer than both Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer and Teddy Sheringham and wasn't given a chance at international level!!!! 😱 "I’d scored nearly 100 goals before I was called up to England. To me it's extraordinary. England had Alan Shearer, Teddy Sheringham, Ian Wright, Les Ferdinand and Andy Cole, but I genuinely would back myself to be better than all of them. In terms of goalscoring, I was probably the best at that time. I’m not having a go at them, what did concern me was the fact that I couldn’t even get a look in despite the amount of goals I had scored. At the time it was hard to take." That's his line and he is sticking to it huh!! 😉 A great goal scorer no doubt but don't blow your own trumpet! Robbie Fowler earned 26 caps for the England national team, scoring just 7 goals during his career. Even Scousers, surely, can't agree with him! #NUFC #NUFCFans #Newcastle #Liverpool

@Magpie24_7 Not clinical and not a par on shearer. Analysis his time at United in what were great teams and still need 4 chances or so to covert 1. Shearer played in some pants teams yet smashed them in still.

If THIS Andy Cole was playing in the Premier League today, how much do you think he would go for? We could do with a clinical finisher like him in our current squad! #NUFC

A Hibs fan who masquerades as a Mag @FEK666 told me in full confidence that Tonali has begged Newcastle to free him to join the biggest club in the world, and he fucked the Derby off on Sunday to get the earlier and cheaper flight from Ryanair to Italy

Last summer's failed window has put us back years. Missed targets, alternatives flopped/miss-used, players wanting out. Howe is far from off the hook this season but I feel if we can cling onto stability and deliver in the window we can build again next season. Deep breaths #NUFC

@Joe__McL Sorry, EH has to go. We're kidding ourselves if we think he'll ever move away from being a PE teacher wanting bigger, stronger, faster athletes over creative technicians. More than 1 game a season + we're knackered as it's unsustainable. Teams like AV cope, EH can't, simple as.

#NUFC are seven games from the end of the season and still cannot work out how to get the best out of their £124m pair of forwards. Brian Brobbey's display against them on Sunday shone a light on their summer recruitment. chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football…

@AdamP1242 I’d honestly add Elanga, Barnes, Osula & Wissa to the scrap list too. Hope Gordon stays, but not bothered if Tonali or Livramento go tbh…

Newcastle United obviously needs a huge transfer clear out in the summer Bruno Guimaraes, Lewis Hall and Lewis Miley should be untouchable in our point of view Don’t want to lose Tonali, Gordon or Livramento but also understand they will get huge offers with massive wages and would be harder to keep ahold of Nick Pope, Kieran Trippier, Dan Burn, Fabian Schar, Joe Willock and Jacob Murphy can’t be starting for us next season. Need to be let go or become more rotational at the club Club needs to bring several new signings in with good recruitment and planning behind it this time ✅ #NUFC

@GianfrancoShoIa Yip and at this moment of time, short to medium, that's the only way we can operate. Question is have we the staff capable of operating within that model and do we back Howe? I hope we do

@FEK666 I’m saying we can’t so therefore we don’t! You therefore have to target up and coming players who want lesser salaries! There are plenty of successful clubs working with that model! Why not utilise it till we can afford higher wages

I wanted to let the dust settle but ultimatley that was inexcusable yesterday. Howe is responsible, both directly but as a part of a wider club level issue: Recruitment. The reality is the summer was a disaster, From missing out on key targets in all positions to Isak

One final thought. And listen, I appreciate all the replies. Helps me gauge online fan opinion. If the "Eddie out" crew get their wish. Do you think he'd struggle to find another job? Or quickly pop up at one of our rivals? He's the best English manager by a mile.

@GianfrancoShoIa I don't disagree with your observations however at this moment of time when trying to build revenue how do you suggest we pay the top wages. We are at least 100kPW short of what the elite expect. It's one of our biggest issues in 1. Being able to attract and 2. Retain

Strategically, if you’re targeting that calibre of player, you have to be willing to pay the appropriate salaries, which we currently aren’t. The outcome is they go somewhere else every single time, which is exactly what happened. That shows a huge amount of naivety, in my opinion

@toontong85 Yip afraid so.Going 2 B so hard 2 keep building when we lose our best players.Unlike city & CFC we can't throw money wages wise at the top players due to PS wanker R. Infuriating. One step forward two back it feels. Summer was a disaster and that's going to take time to rectify

Apart from having: 2 shite keepers A defence that can't defend A midfield that creates nowt A £55m headless chicken of a winger £120m worth of strikers that can't get a game up top A winger upfront And a team that can't hold onto a lead I'd say we're in pretty good shape #NUFC
