The best decision Rian Johnson made in TLJ was killing off the pointless Emperor knockoff so that Adam Driver’s Kyle Ren could be front and center of the new universe, so of course the first think RoS did was just bring back the Emperor.

Been watching it with the kids and I never realized it’s surprisingly grounded for a super hero cartoon.
It’s Batman at his most “just a guy”, his powers are breaking & entering and computer, he can fight but gets overpowered by like three thugs.

According to Creators, who were given information by BHVR, this Jason is an original interpretation sort of like Ghost Face. He is not the same Jason as from the F13 movies, and his lore will probably be changed to reflect that.

My simple take is that the franchise badly needs to get back to feeling huge, emotional, romantic, tragic and genuinely larger than life again. The spin-offs and “underworld” shit is cute but it only fully lands if there’s a central mythic story holding everything together

Terrible dialogue aside, it's still insanely funny that the climactic duel between the main character and villain of the show directly references and relies on the unfinished Clone Wars Boba Fett episodes that never aired. The relationship between Cad Bane and Boba Fett can only be understood if you have some knowledge of Clone Wars arcs that never existed and I think that's a good example why so many people who never watched the animated shows are slowly turning away from Star Wars.
