Dynasty Fantasy Football Startup Mock Draft Strategy: @FatherDynasty Rounds 4-6 By Chew Russell I was fortunate enough to join the Always Be Building Show with Hosts @FFChalmers and @FFDelly to be a part of a Dynasty Fantasy Football Startup Mock Draft. This was not just any mock draft, as it included a more in-depth approach to player value, roster construction, and consideration for trades during the draft. The first episode covered rounds one through three, with my selections being Joe Burrow, Puka Nacua, and Justin Herbert. For reference, the format includes: Superflex – PPR – Tight End Premium (.5) – 3 Flex Spots 4.06 – A.J. Brown (WR – PHI) At this point, I still have no running back or tight end. While it is necessary to fill out the starting roster, it is also important not to let value slip through the cracks. Aside from quarterback, I consider wide receiver to be one of the more stable positions in terms of dynasty value. And getting a player with Brown’s upside in the fourth round was simply too much to pass up. Brown has been the pinnacle of efficiency, making the Titans continue to regret the trade to ultimately acquire Treylon Burks. Despite only playing thirteen games in 2024, Brown achieved a similar amount of fantasy points per game as in prior years; however, he was overshadowed by Saquon Barkley. For 2025, not much has changed for the Eagles’ wide receiver room, so look for Brown so as long as he has a healthy season, it is reasonable to expect another top twelve fantasy finish.
