The club still hasn’t returned to the 1:1 financial rule, so if you only have €120 million available, why blow it all on Julián Álvarez while pushing hard for the deal? Rather than committing the entire budget to a single player, they could sign several targets and properly strengthen squad depth. For instance: • Mika Godts for €30M a promising young left winger with massive upside. • Andrei Rațiu, Rayo Vallecano’s fullback, for €25M. • Bernardo Silva, who would mainly involve covering his wages. • Luka Vušković and Marcus Senesi together for around €50M. • João Cancelo for roughly €10M, depending on Al Hilal’s asking price. With a few smart player sales on top, they’d be in good shape and actually build meaningful depth across the squad. Instead, splashing everything on one big-name signing while the club is essentially broke… that’s just poor planning.

Wildcard draft. I like the idea of having Thiago over DCL even though he doesn't have a DGW. Thiago: EVE (H), FUL (H), MUN (A), WHU (H) FH34 to remove him for MUN (A) Mitoma and Bijol potentially a bit dodgy? Can't afford Senesi with this draft or he'd be in.

Palace winning 3-0 obviously means they are odds on to reach the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League now. The dates for those matches are either side of Gameweek 35, so I'd expect mass rotation in the league that week most likely.

@FPLGOAT7 Small question with respect. So, GW32 looks awful. Trying to capitalize in DGW33 with BB using the avg EPL teams by going hard on them. Again GW35 the team will be average and clean-up needed. So, for 1GW benefit that too for avg teams, are we sacrificing a minimum of couple GWs?

Do keep in mind your wildcard squad will look awful on paper particularly in GW32
