@Steven_Swinford They kicked the bloke in the head as he was lying on the floor having been tasered, from what I saw on the video. In no way am I condoning what the suspect did, but the force used by the police (once the suspect was down) was unacceptable and indefensible.

Dear Keir Starmer, Your efforts to appease Trump are appreciated, but surely it is now clear that they have failed. All appeasement achieves is to convince Trump that we are weak, and that he will bear no cost if he escalates his hostile behaviour. The video below reveals that last night Trump told the PMs of Norway and Finland that because Norway had denied him the Nobel Prize, he no longer had an obligation to think purely of peace. Trump is not interested in common security. He is driven by an insatiable compulsion to convince himself that he is powerful. It doesn't matter how many successes he achieves, and how much honour he is granted, he will always want more. And he will want bigger, so if he is granted Greenland, he will immediately want a bigger prize. Trump cannot be appeased. He must be stopped. The task for America's allies is now to persuade enough Republicans in Congress to join the Democrats in acting to curb Trump's excesses. Also, this really does show the geopolitical folly of Brexit.
