Help Shape NOCA’s 2026–2028 Strategy We are currently developing NOCA’s next strategy, which will guide our work over the period 2026 to 2028. This short survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Your feedback is important and will directly inform our strategy development. We want to hear from clinicians, audit staff, hospital management, patient representatives, policymakers, researchers, data partners and others who engage with national clinical audit. The survey is anonymous unless you choose to leave your contact details at the end to participate in a stakeholder workshop. The closing date for responses is midday, Monday 18th August 2025. 🔗 forms.office.com/e/dNsR3bHPDt

WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Leon got heartbreaking news recently and has no more treatment options. When days get dark, we need to create light. Leon loves GAA jerseys, all of them! Is there any way we can get as many counties to gift Leon a signed jersey from their team?

Special school, special units, special class, mainstream school, mainstream class are ALL PLACES OF EDUCATION & none are better than the other. As long as the individual child is being educated in the best place for them that is what is most important. Not one size fits all.
Family Carers Ireland@CarersIreland

"Every child deserves to be valued, nurtured, respected & supported to reach their own full potential." Aisling McNiffe, who cares for her son Jack, is highlighting special education & the provision of vital therapies as key issues for the next govt. 🗳️#GE24 #MakeCarersCount

In case you missed it! The HSE has introduced a new immunisation programme to protect newborn babies born between September 2024 and February 2025 against RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus). This vital step follows a recommendation made in the Irish Paediatric Critical Care National Report 2021-2022 by NOCA earlier this year, highlighting the importance of RSV prevention to reduce serious illness in young children. This is fantastic news for patients and their families, as it strengthens healthcare efforts to prevent avoidable harm, improving outcomes for our most vulnerable babies. To understand why this matters, hear Ailbhe’s story, where her family shares their experience of RSV and her admission to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit when she was just 3 weeks old.
