Slightly late announcement, but I'm thrilled that the second journal paper of my PhD titled "Are authorities denying or supporting? Detecting stance of authorities towards rumors in Twitter" has been accepted at Springer SNAM. with Dr. @tamer_elsayed 🥳🥳🥳

4) We investigate the performance of the models when adopting variant loss functions to alleviate the class-imbalance issue, and we perform a thorough failure analysis to gain insights for the future work on the task.

3) We explore the adequacy of existing Arabic datasets of stance towards claims for our task, and the effect of augmenting our in-domain data with those datasets on the performance of the model.
