I will never understand why Canadians insist e-transfer is better It isn't. It's always more annoying to use than the US system (or what they have in the rest of the world) I'm not saying interac e-transfer is terrible or unusable but it is objectively less convenient than Venmo, especially if you don't already have this person in your contacts It's weird how defensive Canadians are on this. Weird elbows up stuff. But it's always from people who have never experienced the system in the rest of the world

This quote by Daniel is bang on. I have asked a few players about social media vs reality in the past. The general consensus is that fans are great in person and while they still face some criticism, it is no where close to what burners write on social media.

VPD officers tracked down a big, furry suspect last Tuesday around 1:00 a.m. after the VPD received 911 calls about a black bear wandering around Commercial Drive and Grandview Highway. Patrol officers located the bear, and the Emergency Response Team assisted when the bear was getting a little too close to people nearby. The BC Conservation Officer Service was called, while VPD officers contained the bear as it moved toward Hastings and Commercial. When the Conservation Service arrived, the bear was tranquilized and taken to North Vancouver. Nobody was hurt, the bear slept it off, and was released without charges.
