Every politician contesting 2027 has read or been briefed on the 1999 Constitution. They all know Chapter II which covers electricity, healthcare, education and housing CANNOT be enforced in court. So when they promise you light and fuel in their campaign, understand that failure has ZERO legal consequence for them.
You cannot sue a president for darkness. You cannot sue a governor for bad roads. The constitution they swore to uphold actually protects them from your anger.
26 years. Obasanjo promised it. Yar’adua promised it. Jonathan promised it. Buhari promised it. Tinubu promised it. Same constitution. Same unenforceable chapter. Same suffering.
Before you collect that rice in 2027 and sell your vote, ask yourself one question why has no administration in 26 years moved to make these promises legally binding?
Because the day electricity and healthcare become constitutional obligations with legal consequences, every governor and president becomes personally accountable in court.
They are not protecting Nigeria. They are protecting themselves from you.
Vote with your sense in 2027. Not your stomach 🇳🇬🙏🏾
