@KemiBadenoch Disgraceful and immature politicking, at a time of global crisis. I thought you were learning a few weeks ago, looks like I was wrong. Do better.

Why on earth are we hesitating and procrastinating on these guys joining NATO, we are going to need them, when this is over.

@shashj He’s going to have 40 years of being pilloried by history for his ignorance and hubris.

Again and again, one simple question instead of a million words.

@LindseyGrahamSC @POTUS The days where you could be considered relevant, have long since gone. #Quisling

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake.
The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure.
The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America.
I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

@cookiejargolf A really enjoyable listen to one of the professional games true gentleman, would love to hear a follow up interview when he's over at Birkdale in July.

A special guest joins the pod this week in 1991 Open Champion Ian Baker-Finch, who was kind enough to give us some time while enjoying a bit of well earned rest in New Zealand.
Ian shares a refreshingly honest account of the highs and lows of his career, his 25 plus years behind the microphone, and his thoughts on the modern game.

After seven years away, the World Rally Championship will return to the UK…
The forests of Scotland will come alive to Rally Scotland in 2027. The perfect backdrop with dramatic landscapes and iconic stages.

Really exciting to see the @OfficialWRC return to the UK in 2027 with Rally Scotland @OfficialRallyUK 🤩
Rally GB was always one of my favourite and most special events, and even though it'll be completely new stages I'm sure it will be just as fantastic 👌🏼

@ryancavengolf I know I was being slightly flippant, but I think too many club members unreasonably expect perfection, whilst ignoring the basics. Especially after a wet, soggy winter.
English

@FJB19 That definitely helps 🤣

Something to think about …
If any green keepers can explain.
Golf courses up and down the country.
A great way to improve a golf course experience would be to have the holes cut to perfection and have top quality pins and flags along with a little white paint to finish them off.
I understand budget may be the biggest factor ….
Just a thought 🙂

@F1mech I have watched F1 through all the eras, since the turbo 80’s, then the V10’s and V8’s and I really thought these rules would be a disaster. However, after the bloated ground effect cars of the last 5 years, they represent a step in the right direction and the racing has improved.
English

I totally get that commentators/pundits are at the behest of FOM to be positive about the new regs, I really do.
…but we might need to find a bit of balance and honesty. There’s no way that they all wholeheartedly and unanimously agree that everything is great. Some of them may, some won’t. It’s actually those debates that I think viewers would enjoy more. Differing opinions make better telly and people aren’t silly.
English

Maybe own your own shit on this outcome @joerogan , you played your own small part.

@Fry11Ben I’m sure you do Ben, but with an early start back in the UK we have people join us all the time, so it doesn’t hurt to recap what they might have missed
English

@Rubystone911 Lewis making the Ferrari look such a drivable car, he seems able to place it wherever he wants. They still need to find more pace though, especially if other Mercedes teams figure things out.
English

@FJB19 I was going to mention that. I still think that Red Bull's much vaunted superior energy recovery system causes unpredictable rear axle lockup whilst Ferrari obviously allows more 'real' braking
English

Halfway through the race and we're seeing some fantastic racing. Ferrari really taking the race to Mercedes. But Hamilton has obviously taken a lot out of his tyres. #f1
English

@Rubystone911 3 days at Silverstone would be ideal, as good as Ferrari have been they’re still some distance behind once the 1st stint has worked through.
English

@FJB19 I'm wondering whether FIA will allow teams to use that time for more on track testing? Or whether they might bring the June regulation change/s forward?
English

Last season we couldn't see cars racing so closely without washing out. We have the foundations of a great formula here and it'll be interesting to see how engine and chassis developments close the field up this year #f1
English

@Rubystone911 They also play back into Lewis’s unique talent on the brakes.
English

@FJB19 He's not stupid. He knew that Hamilton hated the GE cars but would enjoy the new cars with less downforce
