@joerussotweets I agree for 1 and 2, 3 has a lot of stuff that enhances the experience though, eg. Saruman and Wormtongues resolution and the ghost army sequence in the mountain.

I usually wouldn't put much stock into rumors, but I do think the Jacob Elordi as the next @007 for @AmazonMGMStudio is picking up steam. He would be a great choice the way his stock as an actor has grown the last year and continues to grow. He's the right age and has the chops.

Another big $22m day for @officialavatar #AvatarFireAndAsh on Friday with crazy James Cameron legs kicking in. Should finish $1.7b+ potentially and I think after a 1-2 film break for Cameron, it's very possible Avatar 4 is coming from @20thcentury at some point. Huge win.

In an ideal, more lucrative timeline, JURASSIC WORLD: REBIRTH, SUPERMAN, & FANTASTIC FOUR would have all made $1B each.
Now, they’re crawling to reach that milestone.
I have always believed releasing these films within the first few weeks of July was bad for business. They are basically cannibalizing each other.

Ok WTF. At this rate, we're looking at a total of around $500m-$550M worldwide and possibly under $300M domestic. Not a flop, but definitely not good either. I loved this movie and I don’t understand why this is happening.

There were some people attempting to argue that Superman's 2nd weekend drop of 53% wasn't very good, and a sign of less than stellar word of mouth.
Fantastic Four has nearly identical critic and audience scores to Superman. Yet it dropped 65%!!!!!
Superman's hold was VERY GOOD!
