They are power hoarders clinging to relevance long past the point of usefulness, making decisions that affect millions of lives they will never have to live. At what point do we demand term limits? At what point do we say that a democracy cannot function when it's run by people whose primary motivation is self-preservation? 41 years is not a career in public service. It's an occupation.
