As Memorial Day approaches, it’s important to remember this is more than just a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer. It is a time for our nation to pause and honor the brave Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The freedoms we enjoy today were secured by men and women who never made it home to their families. Their courage and selflessness deserve not only our gratitude, but our remembrance. This weekend, I hope every Floridian takes a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and honor those who gave everything for the nation we love. 🇺🇸
