I'm not really sure why Pearl Abyss is doing this? This is a red flag. And after Cyberpunk people will have pause, for good reason. Its already been said no console codes are being given out for reviews (at least pre-launch), besides the PS5 Pro one that DF tested.

No PS5 footage of Crimson Desert before release as confirmed by John from Digital Foundry. FYI - the PS5 pro footage of Crimson Desert from DF was tested on a console that was given to DF by Pearl Abyss with the game pre -installed on it, so they don't have a key to install on PS5.

I could play on my PC at Ultra, but I'll probably play on my PS5 Pro, just because of it's location and my comfy recliner. I might however double dip and get it for Xbox/PC...then I'll have it on just about every device. Where will you be playing Crimson Desert?

@hard8_times Yeah, at Native 4k. Anything not in the -80 -90 tier of GPU is going to struggle at Native 4k as well. This is why we have upscaling solutions.

For people bashing me for playing RE4 Remake on PS5 - my main rig is a 7950X3D and a 5080 cry - the game was on sale new for $20. Not paying $40 for a 3 year old game - PS5 is more than enough for this kinda game

Are you planning to buy/upgrade to the PS5 Pro now that: • Sony plans to keep their first party titles exclusive permanently • PSSR 2.0 is soon to be out and RE9 shows a positive outlook • More games are offering 60fps modes with ray-tracing • GTAVI likely has a good chance being the best looking version day one • PS6 is seemingly delayed until 2028

I support this as a console fan. I love the PC ports but this makes sense to me as I love my PS consoles.
