Ok students, I've found a good reason for you to stay up late on a school night! It is a beautiful night to watch the lunar eclipse! If you have any flat earther friends, you can invite them outside to observe one of many pieces of evidence of a round planet. 😉 @FoxMiddleSchool

We had a beautiful sunrise this morning, but the end of the day was amazing too! I believe we got an example of "cloud streets" that form when rising warm air slowly cools and the dropping cold air form clouds parallel to the wind, leaving one side cloudless! @FoxMiddleSchool

Using graduated cylinders to measure volume and find the volume of irregular objects using water displacement. @FoxMiddleSchool

Practicing data tables and graphing using the scientific method! Answering the age old question, "which bounced higher, a golf ball or ping pong ball? @FoxMiddleSchool

Great turnout for our first meeting of Chess Club! These kids come with some dangerous skills already! I see a tournament forming in the future! @FoxMiddleSchool

Before we start using the computers in Coding 101, we did a fun problem solving activity to prepare them for the challenges ahead. Creating the tallest tower using only 20 pieces of paper, winning tower was over 120cm! @FoxMiddleSchool

And another classic to enjoy in our last week of school.

End of the year fun with the classic Elephant Toothpaste experiment. Students were in charge of gathering, measuring, and cleanup of all materials. They did a great job (and still not too cool to play with foamy goo 😉) @FoxMiddleSchool

Kids flip out for Science and STEM!! Today we are testing to find the perfect amount of water to get a successful bottle flip. Lots of fun in the name of science! @FoxMiddleSchool

I really want to see the first tiktok made in space but I really REALLY wanna see this amazing women in space!!🌌

The class is definitely more crowded, louder, and much more chaotic... and I'm loving every second hearing these kids excited, and laughing while learning with their friends again! @FoxMiddleSchool

If you've ever taught elementary, middle or even high school, you've probably had a student randomly hand you a drawing they've done for you. Do yourself a favor and find a place to display them if you can. Great way to remind you how fun and talented they are! @FoxMiddleSchool

For our final challenge in STEM this semester, we tackled the egg drop challenge. We had some excellent builds and kept those fragile volunteers safe.... for the most part. @FoxMiddleSchool
