This is BS and outdated bro. The SSA ancestry in Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia is Nilotic in origin. Mota/Ethiopian hunter gatherer barely contributed to any of them except maybe the Oromo. Check this out: pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC68…

@Kahsoyas @abziii9 @copperskin722 You’re right that they don’t. But they all show similar ancestry. The only difference is that some, like you said, have Arabia ancestry that brings them closer to Semitic speaking Habesha. The “purest” Cushitic speakers would be the Rendille and Somali probably.

Some, like Agaw, can be closer to nearby Semitic-speaking Habesha groups than to other Cushitic-speaking populations, so “Cushitic” is not a single genetic category. In fact, the reverse here could actually just be true

It’s no coincidence that Habeshas are genetically indistinguishable from Cushitic speakers like the Agaw or the Afar or others. Habeshas are Cushites that now speak Semitic languages.

@FN_SFL @abziii9 @copperskin722 Cushitic doesn't really mean anything here. What exactly do you mean by Cushitic? Your ratio of East African to West Eurasian + North African? If that's the case, it's not close, even Somalis are only ~60:40, Habesha groups (and even other Ethio groups) are ~45-55.

@Kahsoyas @abziii9 @copperskin722 Wdym? Cushitic is real bro. Cushitic is around 40-45% Eurasian + North African and 55-60% Nilotic East African. Habeshas share this same ancestry. They are majority Cushitic + Arabian. Cushitic ancestry is the majority amongst everyone. Somalis, Amhara, Oromos etc.
