@FOWLER08 My favorite collaboration lesson was teaching order of operations when I was a SPED teacher in 5th grade.

@DrTGCollins1 I love this!! Collaboration should include all those different people. We all must work together for the benefit of the students.

@FOWLER08 A2: In my school, collaboration looks like a joint partnership between the EL Teacher, Special Education Teachers, and the General Education Teachers. There are biweekly meetings that are designed for such collaboration. #MyAEA#MyACT#MyEdChat

@DrTGCollins1 Great ideas.

@FOWLER08 A3: Collaborating with our media specialist, it enhances the students' learning with reading books on various topics as well as engaging activities that foster students' learning. #AEA#MyACT#MyEdChat

#myaea Q3 How do you think collaborating with your media specialist would benefit your students?

@DrTGCollins1 Reading is a good one. Author studies would be a great way to collaborate with the teacher or if they are studying different genres.

@FOWLER08 A4: I think that I will start with Reading.

#myaea Q4 Which subject do you think would you start with when looking for a someone to collaborate with?

Q5 I think my favorite was doing African American Biography projects. Students researched using the AVL and then used Chatterpix to create their projects. Everyone had fun.

Q4 I always look for anything that I think teachers have a hard time finding materials on. I want to enhance their lessons.

Q3 Students could see the benefit of teachers working together to provide them with interesting lessons. Skills can be enhanced. It allows more than one person to help them.

Q2 At my school, I collaborate with the 4th grade social studies teacher. We work together to enhance her lessons through technology and library.

Q1 I am the Media Specialist at Fayette Elementary School . This is my 31st year.
