@DrTGCollins1 My school doesn’t allow cellphones in the classrooms and as a result many of our students are better at communicating with one another face to face. If you think back to COVID, it was extremely detrimental to so many students communication skills.#myaea

@DrTGCollins1 Well I believe if we want students to do anything we want(so to speak) that they need to be taught. So we should definitely teach them how to properly use it in all settings.

@DrTGCollins1 Also, kids already spend so much time on their phones and other devices. They should come to school and work on interpersonal skills because it’s becoming a dying art in our age of technology#myaea

@DrTGCollins1 I believe they are generally not beneficial to a classroom because there are too many cons and not enough pros but I believe we should allow them on the bus because honestly it’s impossible to stop but in school it’s just not worth it.

@DrTGCollins1 Obviously bullying is a huge concern, social media is a huge distraction and that’s where a lot of problems stem from especially if students are “beefing” with each other on social media it can turn into fights and other problems#myaea

@DrTGCollins1 I think one of the benefits of having them in the classroom is being able to have interactive classroom study time (I forget the name of the website but it allows you to have each student answer a multiple choice question and then see how many students answered correctly#myaea

@FOWLER08 I registered but I just want to make sure that there is nothing else I have to do to get credit. Is that all? Sorry I just don’t want to mess up.

@FOWLER08 For me collaborations at my school are very dynamic. I may be having to design a lesson one day with someone else teaching and the visa versa the next day. So it’s ever changing
