I still wonder if Cole Palmer would be a Chelsea player today had Christopher Nkunku not sustained an injury against Dortmund that summer. Considering the form he was displaying during that pre-season, there is a significant possibility that Chelsea might not have pursued Palmer's signing. God works in mysterious ways.
