🚨 A few key points before the #GW07 deadline 🚨 1. If you still have your Wildcard and can hold it, GW08 could be the perfect time to use it. 2. It’s never too late to jump on a train. If you still don’t have Semenyo (like me), don’t skip him just because he’s now 0.8m more expensive. This is the third time I’ve said it — still true. 3. Salah is a great FPL asset, but considering his price, he’s no longer a must-have. 4. Arsenal are the best team in the league with the best upcoming fixtures — load up on their players. 5. My top Arsenal picks (in order): Gabriel, Timber, Gyökeres, Saliba, Raya. 6. Haaland is the clear captaincy pick for GW07. Don’t overthink it — ride the form. 7. Best differential: Gordon. He’s on penalties now — confirmed. 8. With Defcon points in play, centre-backs are outperforming wing-backs — even the cheaper ones. 9. Enzo is playing more advanced without Palmer, and possibly on pens. At 6.7m, he’s a bargain. 10. Sunderland aren’t your typical promoted side. Consider Roefs (4.6), Alderete/Mukiele (4.0), or Isidor (5.6). 11. On a Wildcard? Don’t copy the template — throw in 2–3 punts. If you're not playing for fun, why play? 12. I’m on WC. My differentials: Gordon, Enzo, and Sarr. 13. Best GWs to Wildcard: GW08 or GW13. Consider Bench Boost in GW14. 14. Chelsea’s fixtures from GW08 are fantastic — plan ahead. Hope this helped! 🚨 A few interesting points before the #GW05 deadline 🚨 1. If you still own Watkins or Rogers like me, this is not the time to sell before Sunderland. 2. It's never too late to jump on a train. If you still haven't got Semenyo (like me), don’t leave him out just because he's now 0.6m more expensive. 3. This is a strong GW to use your BB. If your team is set up nicely, just get this ugly chip out of the way. 4. In my eye test, post-injury Cole Palmer looks like a new player. I think he could be the second-highest scorer in the game. 5. At the moment at least, target CBs over attacking WBs — defensive points are winning by a big margin so far (unfortunately for us Muñoz and Porro owners). 6. Salah is the best captaincy option this week although it is the early kickoff game. Palmer is one to consider as well. 7. Start Sels over Dubravka. 8. If your team looks solid — just roll the transfer. 9. Next GW, you’ll have Haaland in his prime vs Burnley at home. You won’t get a better TC chance in the first half of the season. Try to get him without using your WC or FH (since you won’t be able to TC otherwise). My route to Haaland goes through selling Salah and keeping Palmer 👀. 10. Don’t bench Arsenal defenders vs Man City — they could get attacking returns and defensive points even without a clean sheet. 11. Isak had a price rise this GW. I wouldn’t buy him at 10.5m unless I see him starting two games in a row. 12. Arsenal will have the best run of fixtures starting GW07. Keep that in mind — it could be a good time to use your WC if still available. 13. Just for later, the dream team from GW07 could include: Haaland, Gyökeres and Isak as a trio plus Palmer in the mid, I am still trying to fit them in (Still on paper). Hope you found this helpful! What's the difference between two parents working full time to earn £150k between them, and two workless parents who decide to live off benefits? After tax, rent and childcare, less than £20k a year.

Labour want to TAX you every single year just for owning your home If your home is worth more than £500,000, Labour want you to pay 0.54% EVERY year. Here’s what that looks like: ↳ £550,000 = £2,970 a year ↳ £600,000 = £3,240 a year ↳ £700,000 = £3,780 a year ↳ £800,000 = £4,320 a year ↳ £1,000,000 = £5,400 a year Just for OWNING your home You’ve already paid stamp duty, income tax, council tax… now forced to pay this new property tax This is a SCAM by the government

"But if we tax the rich, they will leave the country!" Good! If they are so greedy, they would starve disabled people, rather than pay their way, I don't just want them to leave, I want to requisition every last one of their assets first. They are parasites, utter parasites.

@DanielPriestley Looking forward to hear how we tackle ultra high net worth families, like R Sunak, whose effective tax rate is a mere 22%!

This is going live on the 20th of March. It gets heated. We disagree on a lot and we don't hold back. It's important to have real conversations about the big issues though and I think we all broadened our perspectives. Keep an eye out for this - it's unlike any other episode of Diary of a CEO.

It's publication day of Minority Rule, and I'm a little bit hungover! It's been 3 years of writing, writing paralysis, and writing again, and sometimes it felt like I'd die of old age before getting this thing done. But it's FINISHED, it's available in SHOPS, and you can listen on AUDIOBOOK.

In my head I don't feel 44. Then I look around my house and there's Ralph Lauren sweaters, gardening gloves, a big box full of wires and cables. I have a shed, a BMW X5 covered in pop chips. My favourite music is more than 25 years old. Oh yeah, and a wife and 3 kids! I am actually a middle aged man. Careful lads, it creeps up on you.

@DanielPriestley How can the UK move to a low tax economy without a Truss style event?

Teach this alongside the laws of gravity… - high taxes destroys growth. - bigger governments reduce prosperity. - higher tax rates lead to less taxes being collected. - you can’t tax your way to wealth. - people respond to incentives and taxing people is an incentive for businesses and high earners to do less or to leave. - any tax on labour is a tax on the workers. - a tax on farmers reduces food security. - a tax on energy is an added burden on industry. - government spending is almost always the most inefficient mechanism for getting something done. - free markets are the most efficient economies. Planned economies lead to chaos and destruction.
