@AlexVolloFPL @FPL_Timmy there is never any guarantee of defcon especially if they are playing a poor team who will force less defensive actions. Then there is the possibility of a booking. Hits are rarely justified particularly if its before a wildcard. An immediate profit is unlikely.

A hit for 11 makes sense this week assuming you intend to wildcard in 32, or are bringing in a player for the longer term.
But obviously you want to go for players projected to score over 4 points.
Bruno, Wilson, Palmer, Thiago etc.
It's also about fun: 11 is more fun than 10.

@TheFatGoalie Yeah Romero definitely has goals in him! But yeah the discipline is an issue & I think that Spurs' style of play makes bookings more likely, as the defence is a little exposed.
But I get why you fancy him, given the FH dilemma. And the relegation threatened players often do well

I can't believe people are insulting Neymar.

@TheFatGoalie It is a strange one with Thiaw. Logically, I think he is sound. He has goal threat, some DC potential, decent fixtures. I own him.
My only concern is that he was so so bad in midweek. He was at fault for several goals.
Is there any danger Botman plays over him?

@FPL_Timmy Would you still go for Thiaw after that thrashing at Camp Nou? He was my plan all along, but I do feel their morale will be low going into the derby. Also Tonali might miss out.. aaand he's becoming template which is what I'm trying to avoid. Romero also plays in BGW34

That's exactly the point, I'm at 900k and anyone in my position should start going for differentials because what's the difference between 900k or 2m? If it works you fly, if it doesn't work you're still going to have a bad rank. That's besides the fun factor.

@TheFatGoalie Spurs are not good - why would you invest in their defence? They are playing an attacking style and give up lots of chances. Even in the improved performances you mentioned, they conceded close to 3 xG combined.
Romero's fitness is also an issue.
