99% of people get this wrong. Focus is not about you doing more... Focus means removing everything but the most important thing. For most creators, social + email + messaging are the TRIFECTA of distraction 🚩 Here are 3 simple steps to protect your focus and free up 3 hours/day: Step 1: Install "Stay Focused" Chrome extension → Block distracting websites → Set time limits for social media → Cap hours allowed on time-wasting sites Step 2: Set up iPhone Screen Time limits → Select apps that pull your attention → Establish daily usage caps → Create boundaries for yourself Step 3: Download "Freedom" app → Blocks distractions across all devices → Creates a synchronized focus environment → Eliminates excuses to check "just one thing" Freedom is a paid app, but it's really neat that it blocks incognito browsers and your desktop apps too. Remove what steals your attention. Regain control of your hours. Build focus like a muscle 💪 What distractions are you having trouble kicking? --- 🔔 Teach 1M people AI, 500k+ in 6 months, $0 budget 🚀 I built Blotato.com to distribute 100+ pieces of education/week

I love using @freedom For me, it's totally worth the small fee for that ability to *NOT* be able to do things.. things like scroll endlessly, get stuck down some weird rabbit hole. How kids do not want to be told what to do, while us adults desperately need someone to tell us what to do.. or not do.. Freedom can't tell you to go to bed but it can make poor choices harder to access! **PS there is a free version available

Your productivity app might actually be another distraction. Leaderboards. Streaks. Badges. Even “focus tools” are fighting for your attention. Freedom does the opposite. We block distractions so you can actually focus. Set it and forget it. #freedomapp #blockdistractions

Been using @freedom’s new app, Limit, and I’m really liking it. Smart features that help you set boundaries with your attention What I like most is that it doesn’t rely on guilt or brute-force blocking. It helps you put thoughtful limits around scrolling (the kind of approach I write about in Indistractable: designing your environment so you don’t have to rely on willpower) Worth checking out if you’re trying to be more intentional with your attention! Available for iOS in Apple's App Store.
