Since the Expansive Armament Star was made from Pretty’s body, and in the scene prior to this Anis’s core was literally melting, the armament added parts of itself to Anis and produced this effect here. So it’s very similar in theme and actual execution. I like to think that final “You’re not done yet” were Freesia’s final words to her, really rounds everything out, especially if you do the Anniversary event after all this.

A hopium theory is that Riss became Eyeri. The two people who died during Smile Time incident ended up in the same squad. Avistar confirmed to not be Riss in main story as she made the AI video. Riss losing her memories then regaining them later as Eyeri has a lot of potential

@StormNato14 For me it was 45 and 46. The cut scenes in these two chapters should of been the anni event. Anis's story was good but I think it could of been told as a side event or seasonal event like Footstep Walk Run was for Rapi.

Alright nikke community got a question for you. Which part of the overall anni hit you the hardest out of these 3 options? -Chapter 45 -Chapter 46 -Star Anis I know Star Anis still has hard mode but still I’m curious which one affected you the most?

@Burning_CD @Ratman69696969 Think about what you said. Tying up loose ends? They did this about other things in regular events and side stories. So anni events are going to be like regular events now. If this is the direction they want to go then the anni events will lose their impact imo.

@FRITZ5269 @Ratman69696969 You're supposed to. The devs during the dev talk said to play recent chapters before playing 3.5. This event is mainly tying up loose ends to begin something more important.

This is a question on the most recent Nikke survey. It seems humorous, and it is, but I want to get across why I like this. Regardless of your own thoughts, it is undeniable events last year like Unbreakable Sphere or Boom the Ghost had some of the worst reception in Nikkes history. The fear with bad press like that isn't so much that it exists, it's that ShiftUp wouldn't learn anything from it. I believe they did. Several minor examples (Siren calling us Handsome in chapter 42, New Snow White having a bond story involving commander despite meeting similar criteria as Siren, Commander having more involvement in both Campaign and Events, the mere existence of 2x2 Love, etc.) all point to genuine recollection from ShiftUp. I think it's clear ShiftUp recognized that a lot of people were unhappy with the storytelling, and they are course correcting, which I believe is a net positive. If there's any takeaway from this, DO NOT be led to believe complaining/criticizing is a bad thing. You are not "entitled" or "whiny" if a product you put time and money into is not what you want it to be. I love this game, and I always want it to be better. I believe it's in a much better spot than it was this same time one year ago, and I hope it's in an even better spot next year. It's not perfect, probably never will be, but I'm optimistic for improvement.

@Burning_CD @Ratman69696969 So you would of done the event before the chapters in that case. This anni felt no different than a side event. If you would of taken out 2 mins of dialogue by Mustang at the end this event could of been a side event.

@socialepidopta I started playing in late 2023, when Tove's banner dropped. I try to just stay in my own lane and enjoy the story and lore.
