I've been wrong on so many things this cycle. I want to share some of my biggest losses because not enough people talk about this side of things. First up, "D.O.G.E" — I entered with size at around 70m. I had a lot of conviction. It ran to 500m. I took some profits, not a lot, and bagheld the majority back down. It's now sitting at 12m mcap. PENGU — I had an extremely bullish thesis on this token. I got my airdrop from my Pudgies, and then bought more pretty much all the way from near ATH to where we are today. I still have a good amount of belief that things will bounce back (hence why i'm not selling), but I piled a tonne of money in at a price higher than it is now which to me = a mistake/loss from a trading perspective "Nothing Token" — Another token I had a very bullish thesis on and bought a tonne of. Most acquired between 20-100m. It hit an ATH of 170, and is now sitting at 4.7m. Didn't sell any. ANON (super anon) — Once again, very bullish. Thought this would run a lot more. Roundtripped the whole bag. It had an ATH of 65m and now sit at 425k. These were some of my largest mistakes, losing 6 figures (either realized or on paper) on all of them. There were literally dozens if not hundreds of others. I am still up a bunch this cycle, largely due to a few of my bullish conviction bets paying off (primarily in the ai agent meta / virtuals eco, plus being early to GOAT), but it is in spite of all of these mistakes. Most of the time when a coin goes crazy, I scale out and take profits — but sometimes I neglect to, and almost always end up regretting it. I have systems in place, which can help, but only if I stick to them which is the actual hard part. Mistakes and losses in trading are inevitable, even moreso in crypto. If you want to chase insane returns, you must accept that sometimes (a lot of the time) the market is going to absolutely body you. Most people shouldn't trade tbh and instead just stack bitcoin and enjoy life. I often consider doing that myself. But i'm just a degenerate sucker for punishment and love the game too much to quit any time soon 💀
