Unfortunately leaving NATO won’t be to avoid foreign entanglements, we’ll be leaving NATO so we can side with Israel when Turkey & Israel eventually clash in Syria.
This is after we helped topple the secular Syrian gov & installed a former AQ/ISIS leader as president.
Time to stop playing arsonist & fireman in the Middle East, it’s just not worth it.

Jean-Paul Sartre still preserves the dignity of moral choice.
But Baudrillard exposes something far less comforting: a culture that no longer believes in anything deeply enough to defend it, yet cannot stop producing images of belief.
He is neglected for the same reason serious criticism always is in a therapeutic age—it demands self-limitation, even self-distrust. And ours is a culture built on the constant expansion of the self, its desires, its projections, its need to see itself reflected everywhere.
Baudrillard doesn’t accuse power alone. He implicates the audience.
And a society organized around consumption has no patience for a thinker who suggests that even its rebellions have already been commodified, its dissent anticipated, its sense of reality quietly hollowed out.
He is not useful. And therefore, he is not promoted.
