St Andrew’s, Felixstowe, an early Raymond Erith building which must be one of his firm's first commissions. Traditional forms but in concrete from brief period when modernism & tradition could still dance together. A fascinating glimpse of a (better) C20th path not taken where new materials might have played with ancient forms & features & the future remained in communion with the past 📸@FTerryArchitect























This is the resort community of Loreto Bay, Mexico, designed by DPZ. Imagine if we could build beautiful places like this, with parking on the periphery and e-cargo bikes and walking to get around inside. All it takes is to stop banning the option to build like this.
