@JohnStossel The pizza place owner should just raise the price of his pizza slightly, so he can keep his soda cheap(er). That way people won’t go across the street to get the drink, he still gets both sales. People come for his pizza, they’ll pay a dollar more.

@SanchoPanzy @SolLunix Businesses pay taxes. Individuals don’t pay taxes the fruits of there labor is stolen from them through violence. Its simply more comfortable for people to think “I’m a tax paying citizen as opposed to “I’m a coward who is too weak/scared to stand up for myself & whats right”

It’s simple really, all of this is done holding a gun to the head and a human this is far more effective then something non living. With the business government has an agreemen

@SanchoPanzy @SolLunix No. A business expense is spent For the business. A Corporation is a separate legal entity from its owners.

@FUtwitEmployee @SolLunix No. Living expenses are spent on their own consumption - for instance, food they eat. A business’s expenses are spent on somebody else’s - for instance, food somebody else eats. A restaurant owner has to use after tax money at the grocery, too. Same reason.

@SolLunix You’re confusing a company’s revenues with its income? They didn’t “make” $4B. They took in that much in revenue. What if the company had spent $4.1B and lost $100m? Should they still be taxed on the $4b top line number?
