The Afroman Trial. -Cops raid Afromans house for bullshit reasons. -Steal money, break his door, fuck his house up. -No criminality found whatsoever, no charges at all pressed on Afroman. -Afroman spends the next 3 years making songs that make fun of all the officers involved by name, even using footage of the raid from his own CCTV cameras. -Songs had titles like "Randy Walters is a son of a bitch" and "Lick Em Low Lisa" accusing one of the officers of being a lesbian and sleeping with the other officers wives. -During the raid one officer looked like he was about to eat some lemon pound cake sitting on Afromans counter, Afroman made a whole album calling the officer fat. -The cops get mad and file a lawsuit for defamation. -Afroman turns up to court in a whole American flag suit. -Officers performatively mald and cry while listening to the songs really trying to oversell how badly the songs upset them. -One officer was suing because Afroman made a whole song about him saying he was fucking the officers wife. When the officer was asked if Afroman was really fucking his wife, he said "I don't know". Nuking his own case and establishing that there is a non-zero chance that Afroman might actually be fucking his wife. -As his only witness for the trial, Afroman brought a deputies EX FUCKING WIFE. -The jury ruled completely in favour of Afroman. This entire thing has been a great win for free speech and absolutely fucking hilarious.

So the birth control pill was given out like candy to every female millennial at age 15 and now IVF is a 50 billion dollar industry. Must be a coincidence.

The Christian church has long since grappled with this concept for many hundreds of years and found the literalist argument lacking. This is the reasoning behind the “Two Books” doctrine practiced by the Christian church in the medieval period. The first book is Scripture (The written word), the second book is nature/creation (The observable word). This modern wave of “Young Earth” is a new age fad, not the Christian historical norm.

While I appreciate the attempts to find common ground with the old earthers out there, the Bible says it was evening and morning for each day to show us that this is a 24 hour period. Not figurative, but literal. Genesis is a historical narrative. It’s important that as Christians we choose to believe God’s word.

@DavidEdgington Context, bro. Peter was advising Christian women whose husbands were hostile to the faith, considering their (very few) options to evangelize. He was NOT saying all wives must obey their husbands for all time and in all cultures.

Minnesota GOP Senate candidate Michele Tafoya's advice to voters worried about gas prices: "Maybe you take one less trip to Starbucks so that gas goes a little further until this thing is over and these gas prices come back down again. Let's just try to be patriots about this."

The woman went on a man's podcast to tell him about the threat of feminism in the church? Alrighty then.
Melissa the Hopeful🏠Homemaker@BiblicalBeauty

Rosaria Butterfield discussing with @petergoeman_ on his podcast, The Shepherd's Study, the importance of guarding the church against the errors of feminist ideology: "What has happened is feminism has entered into the church and has said, 'You know, it's not fair that I can't use my gifts,' but that's not why God has called qualified men only to be elders and pastors in the church. It is not about gifts. It goes all the way back to the created order... Ordaining women is the gateway to gay theology. There is no denomination that ordains women that will not eventually ordain homosexuals. And again, I'm not a prophet. I'm not a son of a prophet. I don't need to be. You just have to read your church history. And the reason that it's the gateway is, it's the same hermeneutic, different Bible passages, but the same hermeneutic that is used to ordain women is used to ordain homosexuals." Link below

@jackrwilkie He cites "the two shall become one" to tell couples to combine finances, but doesn't incorporate the command that she "be subject in everything". For running a business, he acknowledges that "the only thing with 2 heads is a monster." When it comes to marriages, not so much!

Saw Dave Ramsey tell a woman to threaten her husband with divorce so she can get more of a say in their finances. The Boomer understanding of the family and its consequences has been a disaster for the human race.

I have another announcement to make here. A couple weeks ago, I published a list of civil advocacy groups (things like the NAACP and the ADL) dedicated to the representation of various groups: blacks, Jews, muslims, Indians, latinos, and Whites. The funny (or disturbing) thing I was pointing out was that there was none for Whites. Zero. There are no groups dedicated to voicing the interests of Whites. This doesn’t make sense if you believe things like Civil Rights law, corporate non-discrimination initiatives, and higher education diversity drives are all about equality and colorblindness. This does make sense, however, if you know what is actually happening in the West: the dispossession of White people from their native lands. But I want to change that. The question is: are we allowed to advance our own rights, our own well-being, and apply to ourselves all the legion of legal precedence and civil doctrines that have for decades only served those outside the historic American ethnic core? Well, why not? To this end, I have joined as Executive Director in a new organization which has recently been approved as a 501(c)4 civil advocacy group. It is called the White Civil Advocacy Project (WCAP) We are currently working to develop our team of volunteers, donors, and action items which will roll out over the next few weeks and months. You’ll hear more from me on this soon, but in the meantime, please like the X account below, and see the vision document we have assembled to give a taste of what’s to come.

I just thought about Jessica McClure and wondered if she was still alive and well (no pun intended), and asked Grok. Yeah, Jessica McClure—Baby Jessica—she's still alive and kicking. She's thirty-nine now, lives quietly out in rural Texas near Midland with her husband Danny. They've got two grown kids, and she's actually a grandma to a couple little boys. Works at a horticulture place these days, keeps things low-key—no big headlines since the rescue. That whole thing was thirty-eight years ago, crazy how time flies.
