Actually the public transit system in downtown Toronto is actually way better than the suburbs. Travelers can literally take Subways and streetcars to the Billy Bishop airport and much less time than commute to Pearson via either public transit or by car. In the suburbs are probably more likely to take flights from Pearson Airport while those located in downtown would be more likely to take flights from Billy Bishop. For the people who will bitch about this: This is a joint effort of Canada with our European countries to support Ukraine. We do this to avoid a bigger, more expensive war. If Ukraine loses to Russia, Russia will target neighbouring countries next - NATO countries. Those countries will call in NATO and Canada will be pulled into an expensive war that will also require us to send troops. We are saving Canadian lives by sending equipment and money instead. If this bothers you, sign up for the military and be ready to deploy to fight Russia.

Of course I care about emissions whether they be from a plane, train, automobile, or the emissions coming out of your butt. What I don't care for our idiotic government policies that will drive our population into destitution and starvation while ignoring the big picture polluters across the world who don't share the same values. As a reminder it's global climate change not just Canadian climate change. Also as a reminder absolutely nothing that we do as a country is going to make one iota of difference to global climate change given our rounding error of total Global emissions
