When CM Punk landed at Heathrow Airport for All In on Saturday morning, no one from AEW was waiting to greet him with a car service to take him to the hotel. Punk texted a number he was given by AEW for the driver, and it bounced back. Punk decided to buy a train ticket and find his own way to his hotel. The stock price changes right now are driven by the increased potential value in selling the company to the highest bidder

@RobertFrew322 @Clint4000 @davemeltzerWON That’s not exactly how it works. The Board doesn’t have every action voted on by shareholders. Vince could push to changes to the Board, but he can no longer mandate them. His primary impact now is on selling or not selling.

@Clint4000 @davemeltzerWON He has 83 percent of the vote in the company. He still has control. The entire rest of the board could be against him and they still have less say.

@RobertFrew322 @MikeCT11 @davemeltzerWON He’s not on the Board anymore. He remains the largest shareholder, which has clout but no direct authority. Biggest impact would be on pushing for a sale or vetoing one.

@MikeCT11 @davemeltzerWON He didn't resign though. He retired as CEO and all in company positions. His position as head of the board of directors and majority shareholder means no one IN the company can force him out. The SEC can remove him. Everything else you said is 💯 correct.
