I've traded FX vol for the better part of the last two decades, and all I can say that it is anything but straightforward... If FX is a derivative of two rates trades, FX vol is a third derivative ( so high order exposures are extremely convexed)

OMG ChatGPT is totally broken 😠 I just gave it a task and explicitly selected EXTENDED THINKING. It was thinking for less than 1 second (!!!) on my task, even though I had instructed it to "think hard about the task". What is actually going on here @OpenAI ?!

Sometimes ChatGPT instant gives me an even better result than Thinking/Extended. Anyone experience this?

@PegasusFund Long weekend coming up, was thinking something along the same line.. CHF feel stretched yes, but still feel there is room on an say Iran escalation. But if you want to fade US eco pessimism, then you want to long USD and price out cuts?

On aggregate I lean toward thinking that the threat of deflation, significantly higher unemployment, economic stagnation, and blowoff moves in every inflationary asset means it’s probably time to try the trade

Absent a geopolitical event that rips crude, I am starting to think this could be the turning point for bonds

Looks like the Juice (reasoning effort) values for GPT-5.2 Thinking in ChatGPT have been updated - ChatGPT Plus & Business - Standard (64 -> 32) and Extended (256 -> 128) - ChatGPT Pro - Light (16 -> 8), Standard (64 -> 16/32), Extended (256 -> 128) and Heavy (512) Interestingly, the "Standard" thinking time Juice value in ChatGPT Pro varies in my tests based on region/active experiment, and the test prompts seem to be partially banned now with "Your request was flagged as potentially violating our usage policy. Please try again with a different prompt." Thanks for the heads up @aileaksofficial
