What do you mean Codex remote stores the connections in the ChatGPT account and not on each device??? So if anyone hacks my ChatGPT account not only they can get all my chats but they can also get access to Codex in my computer???

Thanks for the feedback on Codex in the ChatGPT mobile app. While it’s in preview, we’re working to improve it fast. What you can expect next: push notifications, /fork, ability to restore after revoking, better reconnects, fixing the ability to control other devices, fewer mobile thread errors, better git diff & full-file, no plan mode issues, and lots more polish/bug fixes.

@thsottiaux yes, 5.5 through the api is throwing intermittent errors, spent a few hours trying to see if it was from our end but seems like not

Codex team is aware of reports of GPT-5.5 performing worse for some users and investigating. We don't have anything conclusive yet and systems are healthy but we will share updates as we go.

i get some anxiety not using the smartest-available model/settings. but sometimes i dont mind if it's really slow. i wonder if we should focus more on a price/speed tradeoff relative to a price/intelligence tradeoff.
