Barndominiums are surging in popularity because they’re affordable (often $100–$150/sq ft vs $200+ for traditional homes), quick to build (metal kit + concrete slab), customizable, durable, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance. They appeal to people wanting more land, privacy, and self-reliance—especially off-grid setups with solar, wells, and septic.
The “own your land, make your own way” vibe attracts independent-minded folks—preppers, homesteaders, remote workers, and guys who like working with their hands or want a workshop/garage integrated into living space.
It’s not just single guys though. Plenty of families choose them too—big open floor plans, room for kids/pets, lower cost leaves budget for land/vehicles/hobbies. But yeah, the rugged, no-HOA, “my castle” aesthetic does skew more masculine in marketing and early adopters.
Short version: cheap, tough, flexible housing + freedom + shop space = winning combo right now.
@jenkkem@gdolphn Honestly I'm not sure. The only thing I could think of was I kept on shooting out whatever those things are to do damage that protect you. I only got that crazy kraber weapon And only got to shoot it once.
@timthetatman I can't argue this list at all....but maybe it's because of our ages...I'm 41 now .....and GoldenEye was PEAK!!! nfs being and here deeply seals the deal for me. My only gripe would be no twisted metal but I may be on my own on that one. TM2 specifically
@JoeExotic@Emilio2763 Not sure if he still does but he use to come to the palm beach cars and coffee during snow bird season..super cool guy and always had some wild rides with him
Never trust a man who uses Apple Music
It’s for women and homosexuals
Spotify is the only choice for trustworthy men
Loyal for years
Never taking the “get 3 months of free Apple Music” bait
Rock solid.
@KevinNegandhi I’m feeling real confident tonight. We had extra time off, Smitty got his OJ and apple juice, the whole squad looks locked in and in better spirits.
It’s time for the Philadelphia Eagles to show who they really are.
I’m expecting a commanding victory. 🦅

@sircalebhammer Took me a long time to figure this out because I really love cars. But I sold my hellcat that I owned outright, paid off my wife's car and paid cash for a daily. Never been happier....I miss the hellcat for sure but loving without a car payment is sweeter
hello, I need to talk about how unfair it was of me getting banned. hear me out. so I have streamed around 3,000-3,500 hours on apex in the last two years give or take. I grew up playing apex and have always strived to become better than i was before.
and recently all that progress and growth has just been thrown out the window. over something i cant even get an explanation or a proper response. and its unfair, i understand what everyone thinks and sees and i am stupid for not properly explaining it.
I also understand that my word may not be promising to most, but if you have ever watched full clips of my gameplay, my streams from now till dating back weeks to months ago. you will see im not all perfect or seen as a cheater. you dont clip bad fights, typically only good ones
now to why i believe its unfair. there has been previous pro players or even current pro players who have admitted to cheating in the past without ANY repercussions. cheating as far as walling, soft aim, radar, anything. and i get banned without a warning of any sorts for something im genuinely not even sure of
I also believe i was pressure banned, meaning i got banned cause a pic went viral. you can ask anyone i have played with, anyones whose watched me play, anyone who understands me using a converter. there is nothing on my pc, nothings ever been connected to my pc that shouldnt have. i am legit as one can be.
any retweets, likes, replies of your opinions are appreciated good or bad. @RSPN_Hideouts@PlayApex please help, i have a reputation thats been nuked and opportunities crushed and thrown away. #FREEDODGE
Wow! Former Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins opened up on the AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts situation today on his podcast.
Reports AJ Brown only used "Oddjob" during team N64 Goldeneye sessions despite Jalen Hurts clearly calling "no OddJob."
The rift is deeper than we thought.
Am dropping new music this week. Will be my biggest release so far with an artist I’ve been a fan of for years. Can’t wait for everyone to hear this one
