But each defection from a, i think likely majority global red, contributes directly to higher death count
In that sense, blue more directly contributes to death (your own) than red

if red is the sane default, blue pushers recklessly endanger themselves over nothing if blue is the sane default, red pushers defect for personal gain hate to break it to you but there's no sane default here. it's all in your head

In the first scenario, no external communication, majority of humanity would always pick red I believe, and you can call me a cynic, but you should pick red
But the second scenario is a political question of "Can people lobby to overcome red voters?" And i think the answer is yes

Tbh i feel like that red blue button thought experiment isnt clear enough
If everyone is suddenly abducted and forced to make a decision between red and blue thats one thing
But if its an annual event where people can lobby together...it becomes an entirely different question
