All while terrified of those they’ve hunted gaining it— because the thrill of the hunt hits different when the prey has the gun.

As if those with the most to gain (or lose) haven’t always had a hand in deciding who gets caged, and who gets crowned. It’s a slippery slope— from orange, to brown, to Black, to poor white, to anyone they decide isn’t “fit” for power.

I cringe every time I read a protest sign doubling down on the idea that being a “felon” disqualifies someone from leading. It feels like prejudice-flavored La Croix— as if felony status isn’t often just a matter of zip code, generational poverty, or skin tone.

I’m on day 2 of a 3-day fast. Not fully convinced I’d win Survivor yet. But 100% sure this is how people become cannibals.

@Ryan_Nehring @NFL LMFAO. I was thinking more, coming up with strategic community partnerships that impact the city/state the teams represent, finding what players are passionate about, investing in neighborhood projects, communications, marketing, and hyper intentionality. But, that works. Lol.

Now, I’m curious if could I combine my love for @NFL football, with my love for community outreach, and my love for philanthropy? THAT (at least in this chapter of my life) sounds like my dream career.

Everyone in the whole world found out everything we were ever terrified of being found out about and no one was impressed with our nightmare.

I’ve also started the journey of becoming a Death Doula, and I’m so excited to walk alongside people as they create legacy projects and vigil plans.

I used to think that working with youth through creative writing was my passion, so I worked to build a multi-cultural arts organization that grew into a multi-million dollar non profit; and then I learned being a non profit executive was NOT my dream.

There is a reality TV show called Milf Manor and these people are going to need THERAPY. America really created this… Smfh. I can’t believe people watch this. *Goes to make more popcorn*

I enjoy Trash TV, but after watching Perfect Match on Netflix, I realize reality dating shows aren’t meant for anyone but especially ambitious beautiful Black Women. Anne-Sophie Petit-Frere, Colony Reeves, and Izzy Fairthorne were THE prizes. Those boys were wild.
