I wish I could watch the Bachelor for fun but generally speaking the show itself and the producers and a lot of the contestants and truthfully a lot of the viewers give me bad vibes. Bad vibes ≠ fun imo

I enjoy Trash TV, but after watching Perfect Match on Netflix, I realize reality dating shows aren’t meant for anyone but especially ambitious beautiful Black Women. Anne-Sophie Petit-Frere, Colony Reeves, and Izzy Fairthorne were THE prizes. Those boys were wild.

Please comment below if you have suggestions for reality shows that are along the lines of #TheBachelor but actually feature racial diversity, queer representation, body diversity, a host that doesn’t make me want to crawl under a rock, & ppl willing to call out bad behavior.

Not to mention the scandals are just free press for the show. The bachelor wouldn’t even be on my radar this season except for all the chatter surrounding Greer and the blackface scandal.

It’s not that producers didn’t do enough research. It’s that they don’t even care at this point. The track record speaks for itself. #TheBachelor
