🚨 BREAKING: Maresca’s Chelsea exit looking smarter by the day Enzo Maresca’s decision to walk away from Chelsea FC is starting to make more sense. Despite delivering a UEFA Conference League title, the FIFA Club World Cup, and securing Champions League qualification, Maresca chose to step away — a move many questioned at the time. But with Chelsea’s recent struggles, internal issues, and inconsistent performances, it now looks like a calculated decision to protect his reputation rather than risk being dragged into a decline. 🔵 Since his exit, the Blues have lost momentum, with structural and dressing room concerns continuing to surface. 👀 Meanwhile, Maresca has kept a low profile… and is now being linked as a potential successor to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. 💭 Sometimes walking away isn’t failure… it’s timing. #Chelsea #CFC #Maresca

So, Liverpool used Konate's contract situation to convince and bag Jeremy Jacquet, and now they are close to agreeing a deal with Konate. So, when Jacquet joins next season, he will warm the bench for Konate and van Dijk. Well played!

Chelsea’s issues are mainly down to the board and recruitment, not just Maresca. He actually brought structure and improvement with limited tools, even with a young squad. If you’re building this kind of squad, you don’t replace him with another inexperienced coach like Rosenior, you bring in someone proven at the top level.

OK. Let me break it down. The biggest issues we have in this squad are height and legs. I have said it before: Caicedo should play more box-to-box to improve our OOP. Essugo, Lavia, and Santos are good but lack height and are not more physical than Onana, who is winning a higher percentage of ground and aerial duels than Caicedo this season. And we know Caicedo is among the best. Plus, Onana can play box to box, has legs for coverage, very quick off first yards and mid yards, and can carry too. Can disrupt plays with interceptions. I think people see him with his Everton lens. His game in possession has taken a massive jump. He's currently losing 6 possession per game. For a midfielder, that's solid. It's okay to have a certain opinion about a player, but it's important to understand when there is an upward shift in performance. The guy has massively improved. I'm not sure we have space for another midfielder, but if anyone leaves, I would take his profile over Guimaraes, Sandros, and Balebas. An Onana-Caicedo pivot would be insane. Trust me.
Formular™@MrChelsealad02

Brother we have Caicedo, Lavia, Santos, Essugo. Those who can play deep and even outperform him. I don’t think midfield is our problem given the options we have. Although, consistency might be their problem but we by far have better players in that position than him.

This girl asked me to lend her ₦200,000 for school fees. As she was talking, I noticed her phone, iPhone 16 Pro Max. Unbothered, I asked her, “Why don’t you sell your phone? You could get a cheaper one, maybe an iPhone 13 or 14, then use the rest to pay your school fees." She said she can’t sell the phone ooo. That’s what she uses to make TikTok videos. I asked her, “Is TikTok paying you already?” She said no. So I asked again, “How did you even get money to buy an iPhone 16?” She replied, “I took a loan from Opay, then added my school fees to complete the money and buy it.” I weak immediately...

🇳🇬 EXPOSED - NIDCOM Boss Abike Dabiri-Erewa’s Vulgar Social Media Meltdowns Undermine Nigeria’s Global Image, Fuel Diaspora Profiling The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, is under growing criticism from Nigerians for repeated use of insulting and unprofessional language on social media, with concerns that the conduct is damaging Nigeria’s international reputation. Her posts in April 2026 have drawn particular attention. In one instance, she wrote “Obingo 😩 Obi diot 🤣🤣🤣,” widely seen as a jab at supporters of Peter Obi. In other exchanges, she referred to Nigerians as “professional hackers,” “warped minds,” and used terms such as “Didinrin,” “Dodoyo,” and “mugu.” This is not an isolated pattern. In June 2024, she described journalist Samuel Ogundipe as “useless,” “miserable,” and “pathetic,” reinforcing concerns raised by Nigerians about her approach to public communication. Nigerians say the role of the NIDCOM chairman requires disciplined and measured engagement, especially when representing citizens abroad. Public communication from that office carries international visibility and reflects directly on the country. Many Nigerians in the diaspora already face scrutiny in different countries, and there are concerns that statements from a senior official that appear hostile or dismissive could reinforce negative perceptions and weaken Nigeria’s image. The issue remains clear. Public officials at this level are expected to communicate with restraint and professionalism, and Nigerians say repeated departures from that standard continue to raise serious questions about the country’s global standing.

‼️Chelsea can be better than this — with Reece James, with Levi Colwill, with Fernandez, with a proper pre-season, with some coaching stability. But the staggering amount of money poured into this club by BlueCo over the past three years drowns out all attempts at mitigation and erases all excuses. ~ @liam_twomey

My wife has been fighting me because I refused to pay ₦500,000 to bury her father. Her family shared the bill for all the sons-in-law ₦500k each. Meanwhile, the man has five grown sons. I told my wife, “I’m sorry, but it’s not my responsibility to bury your father when his own sons are alive and well.” She reported me to her family. They called me, expecting me to comply. I told them clearly; I will give what I can, but I won’t be forced to pay a fixed amount. They got angry, called me rude, and said they don’t want my money again. Now my wife hasn’t spoken to me since. I'm the one being punished for refusing to do what her brothers should be doing.

🚨 When signing Rayan Cherki in the summer for £34M, Manchester City decided to ignore all negative feedback on him that arose during the recruitment process. Instead, they chose to trust his quality, his talent and his attitude. Borussia Dortmund pushed hard to sign Cherki both 15 months ago and in the summer of 2024, but on both occasions the deal ultimately fell through. (Source: @FabrizioRomano)
