I don’t get how women can put those inside themselves.” I asked, “What’s so gross about them?” He said, “They go inside you and come out covered in blood.” I said, “So is it the blood that’s gross, or the fact that they go in a vagina?” He paused and admitted it was because they go in a vagina. @Li33aaa That 13 year old just served the entire table. When a man has a kidney stone it’s a medical emergency and everyone drops everything. When a woman deals with endometriosis every month it’s “just be strong and keep packing lunches.

At the family barbecue my cousin’s husband kept joking that “period mood swings are just an excuse to be a bitch.” His 13-year-old daughter finally said, “Dad, when you have a kidney stone you cry and everyone brings you ice packs. When Mom has endometriosis she still packs your lunch. Sit down.” The table went quiet so fast you could hear the burgers sizzle.
