Every day, 80+ people reach out to RHNK’s Nena na Binti Call Center looking for answers, support and someone who will listen. And the conversations are growing. @pam3_oduor, Advocacy and Communications Officer, and @Fahe_K, Communications Officer, represented @rhnkorg at a civil society consultative meeting convened by @KELINKenya under the #UPR Right to Health Thematic Group. The meeting brought partners together to align efforts toward a rights-based, gender-transformative, and enabling health policy environment at national and county levels. Participants reviewed Kenya’s 4th Cycle #UPR Right to Health recommendations and developed a joint advocacy and communications plan to support coordinated implementation. The discussion strengthened CSO coordination and clarified shared priorities across health financing, SRHR, mental health, and HIV/TB, while agreeing on a unified communications approach to boost accountability and policy influence. Next steps include validating the joint plan, engaging key government and rights institutions, strengthening communications coordination, and advancing joint resource mobilization efforts. This engagement reinforces the power of coordinated advocacy and strategic communication in advancing the right to health in Kenya. #RHNKImpact #RHNK4SRHR

Where the people paid to protect us are the ones aiming for our heads. Where youth are weaponized against their own futures. It's not just a failure of leadership, it's a betrayal of humanity. We stand with Boniface Kariuki. We mourn Albert Ojwang. We mourn all the unnamed lives lost to state-sanctioned violence. But mourning is not enough. Tears will not rebuild this nation. Silence will not save us. Let this be the generation that says enough. Enough with being disposable. Enough with fear. Enough with injustice masked as order. Enough with being gunned down while asking to live with dignity. Rise, resist, reclaim. Because this Kenya, the Kenya soaked in blood and sorrow is not the Kenya we were promised.
